You Need New Eyes

You are not your size. You are not the criticism heard from others. You are not the trauma you've been through. You are not less than. You are not useless. You are not your struggles. You are not 'just a mom'. You are not stupid.

You are YOU. Beautiful. Smart. Talented. Funny. Driven. Sexy. Strong. You are ENOUGH, and you need new eyes.

The way you see yourself is warped. Twisted and disguised as something you're not. How did we get here? How did we go from confident, playful children, to feeling like we don't recognize ourselves? We can't go back, but we can move forward.

Shatter the veil in front of who YOU ARE. Take the selfie. Eat the cake. Go for the promotion. Push yourself. Dance when you feel like it. Be who you ARE.

Most importantly, get new eyes. If you could see through those, you'd see how special you really are.
